Data we process

We may process an anonymous user identifier created by the app to operate private chat, chat messages and images you choose to attach, and message-read status.

If you enable notifications, push tokens and service identifiers are processed. If you subscribe, we process entitlement status, product, and subscription dates; we do not receive your payment-card details.

Saved-story choices, usage counters, and display settings are stored locally on your device. Infrastructure providers may process ordinary technical data such as IP address, device type, and error or security logs.

How we use data

We use data to deliver stories, operate chat and support, receive story suggestions, send notifications you permit, manage premium access and subscriptions, secure the service, and diagnose failures.

We do not sell personal data, use it for targeted advertising, or track your activity across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.

Service providers

We use Supabase for database, chat, and storage; OneSignal for notifications; RevenueCat for subscription status; and Apple for app distribution and purchase processing. They process data on our behalf under their terms and security commitments.

Retention and deletion

We retain chat messages, attachments, and the anonymous service identity while needed to provide the service and support, or to meet legitimate legal and security obligations, after which we delete or anonymize them.

You can request deletion of the anonymous identity and its associated messages and attachments through Privacy Choices. Local data is removed when cleared in the app or when the app is deleted. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

Control and consent

You can decline or disable notifications in iPhone Settings, choose not to attach images or send messages, and clear locally saved stories. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings. For access, correction, or deletion requests, visit Privacy Choices.

Transfers and security

Data may be processed outside your country because our providers operate globally. We use access controls, encrypted connections, and appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, but no electronic storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

stOOriez is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child submitted data to us, contact us so we can remove it.

Changes and contact
